Well, I just signed up for the Bluehost affiliate program again. I keep referring people to the product and setting up projects in their servers, so why not have a financial benefit to go with it? Besides the affiliate kick back, let me tell you why its the solution for me.

A lot of the clients I have simply won’t produce enough traffic for the limitations of the Bluehost shared hosting to negatively affect them. Now I’ve looked at some of the more premier hosting companies for projects that have scaled. Pagely, WPengine, Kinsta, and others have great services too. Sometimes their pricing strategies take a CPA to unwind and figure out, but the service is great. What I find with a lot of bootstrap startups, however, is that they are so focused on their product and other business strategies, that an economically burdensome web host can be the anchor that holds them back.

Web packages can add up fast. Hosting, a developer, a few premium plug-ins on subscription and BOOM! You have a real bill facing you every month. Sometimes, I simpler approach through a host like Bluehost will allow you to live the bootstrap way and grow into your business growth appropriately. When it is time to increase your site’s capacity – provided your business demands it – people like me are there to assist.
