Chip doesn’t just inspire, he equips listeners with the tools to become responsible citizens and bridge-builders in their own communities.

He is a seasoned leader, entrepreneur, and advocate for civic engagement. As the former president of Vistage Florida, he spent over 25 years mentoring CEOs and driving business growth, and is the current Chairman of the Board of Tampa Bay Watch. Beyond the corporate world, he recently founded Unity in Service Inc., a nonprofit dedicated to rebuilding trust through volunteerism and civic action. His latest book, Unity in Service: A Pathway to Responsible Citizenship, explores how service can bridge divides and strengthen democracy. Chip continues to mentor young entrepreneurs and champion the power of responsible citizenship.

The Power of Service:

Restoring Trust and Unity to Heal a Divided Nation,The Root of Our Divisive Culture – How political and social division has reached a breaking point, fueled by media echo chambers, distrust, and a lack of real human connection. Service as a Bridge, Not a Battleground – Why working together on community projects, volunteering, and engaging with those from different backgrounds can naturally dissolve division. A New Approach to Responsible Citizenship – The role of civic engagement, the value of required national service (beyond the military), and how small acts of service create lasting change.

Restoring Trust and Unity Through Service

  1. The Decline of Trust in Society – Discuss the historical shifts in trust toward government, media, and institutions. What factors have contributed to this decline, and why does trust matter for a functioning democracy?
  2. Service as a Unifier – Explore how volunteerism and community service can bridge political and social divides. Highlight examples of how working together fosters respect and a shared sense of purpose.
  3. A Call to Action for Responsible Citizenship – Discuss the importance of civic engagement, voting, and critical thinking. How can individuals take proactive steps to create a positive impact and shift the culture toward unity?
